Default Autolock!!

Please Login to Remove!

If we are not going to get a holster, is there a utility that we can use that AUTOLOCKS the phone for those of us that are going to carry in pocket. Maybe this could be an easy add on when an update is issued?

Yes!!! It can be done!!!

You can easily set your phone to autolock!!!

If you want a timed lock, go into Options / Security / General Settings and set a Security Timeout.

You can also set one of the convenience keys to use the "Lock" application to lock the keyboard.

No add on required. Been there since day one!!!!

Default Need your help!

Ok my bad! I did what you said but it is not locking as stated. I went down to one minute and saved but no luck. I am running pocketday. Could there be a conflict? Do I have do enable password at the top of general settings?

Also, holding down on the home screen locks the pearl.

Holding down the "Mute" key on the top of the device locks the keyboard AND conv. Keys.

To release the lock, press the Mute key again.

With this lock, the phone WILL ring and you CAN answer it.

Mute key is located on the top of the device.

Good Luck.

Ya see? If you hang around on these forums you learn somethin'. I just got a huge time saving tip! Beats the hell out of opening the applications menu and scrolling down to the "lock" option (no snickering, please!).

Yes he was. Read the second response in here. It details how to set up timed autolock.

Default DaraJ is correct! Autolock not ManualLock

Figured out how to do autolock but it requires a password to get in everytime. Is there a workaround regarding typing in a password. The sole purpose of this question was in case I forgot to do the manual lock.

I believe that is the way timed "security" lock works - you need a password to get back in.
