Default Email Sent via Secure Desktop vs. Blackberry Web Client

If I send an email to someone, how does the Blackberry determine if it should be sent via secure desktop or BWC?

Can I select which "transport" to use when sending email?

yup...when composing a message, scroll UP, above the TO: line, and you can select Desktop or BWC. Same for forwarding messages. Only constraint is that if you use REPLY, it can OLNY go via the method it came in on.

I have an idea:

You could theoretically use both BWC and the redirector..

send one e-mail address forwarded to the BWC.. replies through the BWC, with reply-to set appropriately..

and one on the redirector..

meaning you could use two e-mail addresses on your blackberry this method, with two from: address?

anyone tried this yet? i'm goinmg to give it a shot right now..

The Blackberry 7230, at least mine, got really confused when I tried to do this. My emails were not coming to my device and not sending to my recipients. I don't know what I did. Had to call TMobile and they told me that you cannot run two service books on the same device. It gets confused. You can run BWC or the redirector. This causes confusion, I think because it can't figure out whether to talk to your exchange (Outlook) account or your BWC account.
