Ramble not working, tried everything

I'm trying to setup ramble on my buddies pearl and i keep getting the open tunnel error. I have tried every troubleshooting step i can find in these forums and on the ramble site and still no luck. And yes i have configured the TCP setting to wap.voicestream.com and pulled the battery and sent the service books. Is there anything else i can try?
