I just received my 8703e and am about to upgrade from my 7250. I have a few stupid questions before I go ahead and do this though.

When I activate my new Blackberry will I have to choose a new username and everything with Verizon? Meaning will I loose my old @vzw.blackberry.net email and all the emails in that account?

Can I backup my Blackberry and transfer over select items, like emails, memos and addresses from the old Blackberry to the new one

Sync you current BB with Outlook and do a back up.

Log onto your Verizon BB site and use "Change Handheld"

All of your addresses will be the same

Sync with Outlook and you are good to go.
