Anyone knows the OS vers on the rogersberry???

and I HATE the fact i HAVE to go with rogers for service!!!!
still no "people friendly" data plan!
90$ for 350 min???? +++ for sms, ld etc.... this is gonna cost 150$....
but i HAVE 2!!

Im gonna try 2 do a month by month deal..... screw the long term....

We all hate Rogers, but they have bought themselves a monopoly.. especially in the RIM marketplace.. bell can't touch them unfortunately..

Blackberry Silver Dealers wil have them first. Lifestyle Wireless (locations in Richmond Hill, Midtown, Downtown, and Mississauga) is an example of one company. Basically, stores that sell BES will have them. Certain Rogers Video (Class A) should have them this week as well.. Most stores by Friday should have them.

I HATE rogers!!

First, its cheaper to go on the 3 year term and then pay out the $200 cancellation fee (all the other companies charge you more than this), if you really wanted out insted of a month-to-month.

Second, Rogers lets you upgrade your device every year if you wanted to which means you can jump from new blackberry to new blackberry. Everyother company does not let you have this flexiblity.

Third, no one is sticking a gun to your head to get a combo plan. Get a data only plan and couple it with a voice one of your choice. No canadian company can provide the type of rates are in the states. One of their (USA) companies is larger than all the carriers combined in Canada. Pretty much all the companies have the same crummy voice plans.

Chill out, dont shoot yourself in the foot and pay more becuase you dont like the concept of a contract with "robbers", if you dont like contracts on cell-phones move to the UK and prepay it up!

Please stay on topic and stop biting the hand that feeds you (the best in blackberry devices).

Now excuse, me while i go spongebath Ted Rogers.

thank you. i didnt know if THAT actual os was on the rogersberry... i was hoping a newer vers...

as for "data plan" w/ rogers - isnt it time for em to have a non biz plan??
i have been with em for 20 yrs now.... (ya 4 real) and i also have fido... cant beat the $45/m all u can use deal.... i guess i will keep fido and just do data on the berry....
