Hey guys for some reason i cannot get my aim to work on my phone. I have the unlimited text, but do not have the bb data plan.. I do not see why this wouldnt work? Everytime i try to sign in it would get to 80 percent (retreiving buddies).. then cut the connection and give me an error.

so do i need the data plan for aim too?

No BlackBerry Data Plan = No data, end of story no work around. BlackBerry only communicate through RIM's secure servers.
