I have the 7100g and it still shows 4 messages unread on the main screen. I have inside all the folders to see where this messages are but could not find it. It's a way to see all the messages in one screen from any source?
Check saved messages and phone logs. Try resetting the device. And for future reference, this question has been answered time and time again, a simple search would have probably yielded quicker results
