Default deleting applications to free up memory

Please Login to Remove!

what applications can i delete that wont affect how the bb works as a phone.

password keeper
memopad
brickbreaker

can i delete the browser and javascript package. i dont use it much at all.

also, is there a place where i can see how big each application is? thanks.

You can delete all of those applications and not impact the e-mail and phone capabilities. They can be deleted through Desktop Manager / Application Loader, which will show you the size of those apps. Remove the check mark.

I would never recommend deleting the browser....

thanks nj. i put the zen os on there so everytime i hook it up to my computer it will upload the default theme and delete my zen. i read that its okay to delete them from options->advanced options->applications and then click to delete. is that correct? thanks for your help.

Yes - that's fine.
Also, from the main screen type <ALT> LGLG

This will bring up a log. Click the wheel and delete it. It will save you a little space. Of course it will come back...

whats the purpose of that log...

everything seems to still have all the data with it, ie phone calls, time of date, length, etc.

not really an important question, just wondering what the log was good for. THANKS nj for your timely responses.

It looks to me like a RIM debugging log, and I have no idea what the purpose is!

options->advanced options->applications then press clickwheel on application and select delete
