I'm interested in something like this, too... I wonder why blackberry software development lags so far behind that of other platforms as much as it does sometimes. Seems like the field is wide open for a utility developer to make a bundle of money in this space... and there are no takers. Sad.

I dont belive you can put a password on memo's but you could have the same information entered into 'password keeper' instead, which would keep it safe and protected.

I maintain all of my "secure" passwords in the password keeper; plus if you are on a BES it is backup wirelessly!

If I want to allow my kids to play games but not have access to my emai, is there a way to password protect email (or for that matter any sensitive sections?

I see no ability.

Thanks

I don't think RIM really had that feature in mind for the built-in security.

Not many users would find it functional to have a password to enter their phone and then another password blockade to enter their own email (especially since almost all phone features are tied into 'messages'). The security measures built in are meant if it is lost, stolen, or left behind that no one can enter the phone (or memory card). It's not made in mind for loaning out to others for partial functions.

Spend the $49.99 and purchase them a Gameboy?
