After deleting contacts from outlook and synchronizing with a 7510, the contacts are not deleted from the handheld. New contacts in outlook are added to the handheld just fine, but deletions aren't happening.

Go under Configure PIM - Advanced (in Desktop Mgr) and check settings.

What would I be looking for? Conflict resolution? It's set to notify.

There should be a confirm record deletion under the confirmation tab - are those settings checked?

Yes, but as I understand it this option would just "notify" you of deletion/changes about to be made.

True, but I had this problem before also and for some reason checking these boxes cleared it up.

Are you running 4.0? Did you take the battery out, put it back in, etc?

Not 4.0 yet, I did a soft reset...half moon/shift/enter keys and had no affect.

Ah...4.0 solves alot of these problems..

Only 1 person in my environment is having this issue, there must be a better way than pushing 4.0.

2 things to try.

1) open intellisync, click configure pim, select contacts, click choose, make sure that synchronize is selected. If it is, then select one of the other options (import or export) click ok, then go back in and set to synchronize again.

2) open intellisync, click configure PIM, select contacts, click choose, select <none> click ok. Click the choose button again, set to MS Outlook (or whatever translator you were using) and set up any other options you had set.

after either (or both) of these, try another synchronize.
