hi,

i have just started using 8707. facing following problems. will appreciate your comments / help in this regard.

- many time wireless is on but can not connect or download email until i reset it by taking out the battery.

- most of time whenever i charge battery, battery indicator will not show full and still shows bal battery until i reset it by taking out the battery.

i am getting fad up due to abv two problems.

also if u can tell me if there is any back space on this. when typing, for any mistake, i hv to delete all msgs to make correction.

Guess I'm a little behind because I don't know what an 8707 is, but if it's in the 8700 series, I can guess my way through it.

The first problems you mention honestly sound like a problem with the device. If you bought it new, I would take it back to wherever you purchased it and tell them it is defective. Someone else might suggest updating the OS on your phone, but that can be its own beast, so I won't suggest it myself.

The last part is easier. Hit and scroll the trackwheel to move the cursor left and right through the line of text that you need to correct. Moving the trackwheel without the will move the cursor up and down through the lines.

The 8707 is basically the 3g/UMTS version of the 8700 line.

First thing to do is make sure you have the latest version of the 8707 software from your carrier. Then get it installed and see what happens.
