Can you 3 way call someone who is in your recent calls section?

It seems to only go to the address book. How do you 3 way someone in your recent calls or someone that you just know their number but they are not stored in your address book?

Is the only way to do it to view your messages, and then hit "ALT + P" to view phone numbers in recent calls, and then do the 3way that way?

not that this will be of much help for now, but this functionality is default in OS 4.2. pressing New Call from the menu pops up your recent call list.

How do you get that OS?
