Default Anyone have problems between North America and Europe (12/27)

Please Login to Remove!

I'm having a problems with my Europeon users. They cannot send messages or do address lookups. They also cannot PIN 2 PIN me in Houston. I can PIN them and they get e-mail from our BES in Houston.

Seems like data flow from EMEA to NA is having issues. But from NA to EMEA works fine.

I called BB support and they weren't much help and blamed it on local providers. Only issue on the Blackberry network was a cut cable in Singapore from an earthquake.

I'm suddenly having problems with by BB as well, seems like I can't sync emails (either BES or yahoo or gmail), and/or Browse the web. My BES reports the last contact with my device at 11:35 today. Of course I was installing some other software on the BES server, so I was first suspicious that the problem was related to that, but it seems to be a bigger problem.

I'm on Verizon (in the Boston area). Wonder if this could be a network issue...

Anyone else having problems?

Where is your BES? We don't seem to have problems within the same region.

Boston as well. I'm guessing this is a verizon network issue. Maybe unrelated to your problem.

My 7130e has been bouncing around between: 1X 1x 1XEV 1xev ... but I can't seem to get any data to/from the device. Odd...

Just called CIngular. RIM is having a problem all over the world.

We were just having troubles activating blackberries on Nextel and Cingular. Cingular stated that they were having troubles as far as they could tell at that point on the eastern seaboard, and some parts of California. It depends on what you were trying to do.

Really. World including the US or outside the US? Our T-Mobile BBs are working just fine in Florida.

My Rogers in Toronto and T-mo in NYC are working just fine.

Sounds like Cingular shifting the blame to RIM to buy some time.

RIM is having provisioning issues.

The Boston verizon issue should now be resolved.

I haven't had any problems with my nextel or t-mobile users in Wa, but I wouldn't be surprised at the problem considering the extent of the damage to the interweb from the earthquake. I have been reading that it is causing all sorts of back ups.
