I replaced my old 7520 with a new one and synched all the info to it. My new phone shows that there are 4 unread messages but I cannot find them. I've taken the battery out and still showing the messages. Any suggestions?

Sometimes a 'delete prior' from the right date will get rid of these. However sometimes you end up wiping out all your messages just to lose the incorrect unread count.

look in your log for any hidden messages or SMS messages (are the new messages a slanted envelope?)

Or the phone log for missed calls.

delete those, then reboot via battery pull.

Check the end of your message list. Sometimes due to time and date reasons messages can end up at the bottom. There are four messages that are always on a new device (or upgraded one) and if the date is wrong they will end up at the end.
