HI everyone !
I Have Blackberry 7100i on Boost Mobile.
I dont know, how i can send sms because when i open my adress book, i choose any number and click trackweel i dont see function "send sms". I can use only "call".
If i choose MESSSAGES, and mark any placed call, i can use only "compose email", "compose PIN".
So what should i do to send sms? Is my service sending SMS blocked ?.
Please help me.

Sounds like it may be blocked.
Could be blocked by boost or something

Do you have a phone number associated with the contact you are trying to SMS to?

I have an SMS option on my 7130e but when I send it it simply sits there with the time captsule spining and it never sends.

Anyone got any advice?

I think that cant be blocked because when i bought boost moblie card, sales person told me that i can send sms and mms. Either on the boost mobile card is written that i can send sms and mms too.

I bought phone three days ago, so i,m newbie. How i can associated phone number. I reseived sms with registration and i could open this message. I think that this phone should send sms and mms.

Its most likely an IT Policy thing.
Search for "unlocking blackberry" on the forum.
I had the same problem on my 7100T and it drove me nuts!
