I have searched this forum and have not found a clear answer to the question about a car charger that will accept a usb mini to usb cable. I lost my OEM car charger and would like a cleaner replacement without the big coil etc. I am using a proclip setup to mount the device on my car and don't really care for the coiled cable running between the lighter input and the device.

However, there seem to be heavily mixed reviews on these devices, even those made by Boxwave. Can anyone report on a positive experience with any of these devices or point me to one they know will work?
