Maybe I am missing the obvious here, but I am new to BB and am unsure how to install new themes (I see posts on creating them, or downloading customs, etc).

I downloaded one which contains two files: a .COD and a.ALX file What do I do with these (where, how, etc). Can I use my USB cable? What about .JAD?

Also, being a complete *noob* (as if it wasnt obvious), what does OTA mean?

Sorry, Im sure this is very basic to 99.99999% to this board, but Im just getting my feet wet.

Welcome to the forums,
For files that are .alx and .cod put them in a folder somewhere that you won't delete them and run Desktop Manager and open Application Loader and use the "add" function and browse to the .alx file. It will then install the .cod to the BB.

OTA means Over-The-Air. Those you download using the BB's browser. These are the easiest.

.jad's are the files that are downloaded OTA.
