Can someone either tell me or direct me on how to add ring tones to 8703e? Also can you associate certain contacts with individual ring tones? If so, how? Advice appreciated, thanks.

hopefully you have a data plan. if so you can download them from various websites. a good start would be tuneusin.com

to have a specific ringtone for someone go to Profiles, click the scroll wheel for the menu, and click on New Exception.

Thanks, is there any way of adding ringtones that is mps converted from your computer to your 8703e? I have phone rings that I made for my old LG VX8300 on my comuter.

Not sure what "mps" is, but as stated, ringtones must be uploaded to a website from which your BB browser can access, download and save to your phone. There is lots of info on this in the section of this forum titled Ringtones, Themes and Wallpaper:

The best way to do it is via Yahoo Briefcase. Upload your selfmade ringtone in the briecase, then surf via your cellphone browser to yahoo briefcase and download and save ur file... there u are. (max. file size is approx 250kb)

This is most efficient way of doing it. Also, you can also try a site called senduit.com. The site allows you to create a temporary URL where you download the file.

How do you delete old ringtones from the list and the device? I have a few i don't want anymore

From the Profiles screen: wheel click > Show Tunes > find the one you want to delete > wheel click > Delete.

Do you mean via Yahoo Briefcase on the computer or on the Blackberry? And what do you mead by 'selfmade ringtone'? Do you mean music from ipod/itunes?
