Default Possibly (probably) stupid email question

Please Login to Remove!

I am about to abandon my Samsung i703 for a BB 8703e. I have done a lot of reading, and am confused about the email service.

I currently have unlimited data plan with voice minutes (Verizon), which I will continue. I believe I read that the email option for BB can be expensive. I d/n understand this. I thought it would be included in the unlimited data plan?

I have also read about BB fees. Again, are there fees in addition to the Verizon fee?

I promise, I have tried to understand the differences, but I just don't get it.

To be able to utilize the BB's browser and email you will need to have the BB plan in place. Otherwise you will not be able to access either.

There is no "blackberry fee" on top of the unlimited data plan. If you are on the unlimited data plan with voice on another pda device, the blackberry data plan will cost the same amount. In fact, the only thing Verizon has to change on your account is to add "Blackberry provision" which allow you to use a Blackberry device. There is no cost for this provisioning, it is only to allow the Blackberry to communicate and function correctly with their network. Not a stupid question by the way, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Ah, that was what I hoping. And what I thought before doing all my research. I think sometimes think trying to uderstand electronics by the manuals, is like trying to learn how to ride a bike by reading a book.

Thanks again
