Is anyone aware of how to show ONLY unread messages in the Inbox?

I am aware of pressing U to jump to unread messages, ALT-I for only Incoming Messages, Alt-O, for outgoing, etc.

But is there a Search or some other filter to show ONLY the unread messages in one's Inbox?

Have you tried just going into your Inbox instead of the general Messages screen? Select View Folder from the Messages menu, and drill down to the Inbox; then select that folder. That should give you only the incoming.

Nice thought, however, the read and unread notes still would be interspersed together. The user wants to see only all unread notes ONLY...

Sorry 'bout that. Misread your question as "how can he only see Incoming E-Mail," but have no idea where I got that from. Guess that's where the expression TGIF came from!

Just to make sure I am clear on what you want to have happen...

Once you read an email from Messages, you want it to no longer be visible from within Messages? Ie, you don't want to have to File it, you just want it to disappear? I think that is what you are asking for, right?


I don't think that is possible, at least I have checked out two BBs (7250 and 7280) and I was not able to find a way to do it, after checking all of the options on both the BB and the Desktop Manager.
