I just bought what was sold as a new OEM battery for Pearl. I know to max battery ability you need to fully charge then expend it fully for 2-3 cycles. This new battery when i put it in the phone the first time already had a decent charge and i tuened off the phone and charged it fully. When I turned the phone on with its suppoed to be first full charge it appears to be draining fairly rapidly and I will lose most of the full charge in one day.
My question is when you buy a new OEM battery is it supposed to turn on the phone with a decent charge already on the phone?
Most battery's when you buy them new do have some charge in them from the Factory. I noticed that with the wife's pearl, the first few times the battery went very fast, but after a few discharges and charges the battery life increased quite a bit.
