I have a feeling I'm going to end up paying for getting a deal through Amazon.
my headphone jack stopped working (yes-I'm using BB earphones-so I know it worked before). Called Amazon and they said they can't do anything for me since I'm past 30 days. (I'm at around 120)
I'm assuming if I would have bought through Cingular I could just take it to them and they would replace----is that the case?
Does anyone know what RIM's warrenty period is?
If longer than 4 months---anyone ideas on how I can take advantage of it since Amazon won't submit for me?
Most carriers have a one-year warranty period (but they send you a refurbished unit) You might try calling Cingular (even though you did not purchase directly from them) and see what they say
you bought item from Amazon however if your service is with Cingular you are covered by the warranty. They do waranty via exchange by mail, cal customer service and go from there.
