We can not reply the mail messages from local doino domain . We can send and receive mail. I looked at the BEs server configuration document i can not see any for the Bes there is only one conf. document for all server.

Notes Mail Server <- SAME NAMED NETWORK -> Notes Server with BES ??

Are the two servers in the same Notes domain?

You can and should create a config doc for each server in there...
"Add Configuration" button in the admin client should get you one.
