am using my Vista Business PC with my 7105BB. Should I purchase a new BB, say a 8300 (if and when it is available) I understand that I would have to establish a new connection with Desktop Manager. But once the desktop Manager is connected do I also have to make a new network connection wit a new name or will my old BB network connection work?
BTW, I got the 7105 working as a modem by trial and error. Does anyone know of a good step by step how to using Vista?

I believe you will have to make a new connection. A friend of mine has a BB Pearl. He had to exchange it for warranty exchange with a new Pearl and he still had to delete the old connection and make a new one.
