Default Isolate battery drain software

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a quick way to figure out which software drains the batter the most? I have got a replacement BB8700 from Cingular, and the battery goes dead every day. It used to be lasting a couple of days.

I am thinking maybe its Pocket Day or BeeJive IM (yahoo, googletalk, msn).

Thanks for your help.

We don't think there is any way to know which app is draining how much battery. But it would be a nice thing for RIM to provide this info as well !

Is it a replacement battery as well? If it is, give it some time to break in. Then it will be fine.

Wirelessly posted (7100I: BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

Bluetooth consumes a lot of power. I've had this issue as well after replacing my handheld. There are threads that address the problem on the forum.

Seems like it would be tricky since the battery itself could be the issue.

I turned off BeeJive, and configured PocketDay to only refresh weather at 6-7am. That takes care of the battery, now after one day use, it is still 80%. I cannot believe this...
