Hello everyone,

I recently switched providers from Nextel using a 7520 to TMO using a 8100. I want to send pictures as attachments in email messages but do not have the option to do so. Here is my setup:


Tmobile 8100 with BB Unlimited Addon - NO BES
Latest Device and Desktop Software

I am using Gmail as the email account that I want to send pictures from. I have read the various posts on here relating to making sure that you're on BIS 2.1 or above and such. I called TMO support and was instructed to do the following:

1: Power cycle the blackberry by pulling the battery
2: Perform a wipe on the handheld
3: Reinstalled the latest TMO Device Software

None of the 3 above gave me the option of attaching anything to email messages. I called back after doing the above and was told to make sure that "Blackberry Attachment Service" was installed under "Application Loader". For some reason it was not so I did install that option but still cannot attach any file to any email.

Is there anything that I can do? What do you suggest? Any help would be appreciated.
