I'm writing this on behalf of someone else so I'll be back and forth with an extra info...this person synched their BB pearl with pocketmac and had some important noted I believe in memopad, after the synching the notes have disappeared, what the person wants to know is whether they have lost the notes for good, or are they somewhere on the mac hidden, any ideas? Thanks to anyone who may answer, cat

Most likely, the missing data is just plain gone if it is not where it's supposed to be on the handheld or on his/her Mac. I'm not aware of anywhere the data would be sitting "hidden", though perhaps other users have some ideas they can share.

Unfortunately, if you look through this forum, you will find many posts by people with similar experiences (losing data during syncs and having other significant problems with PocketMac). To be fair, some people report that it works just fine for them, whereas others (like me) have switched to MissingSync.
