Someone will flame me for this..... I heard someone complaining of Empower killing their memory BUT I think the first place to start is how you close the applications. Never hit the END (Red) key to end an app as it keeping it running in the background. Always use Menu>Close (or end) to exit.

You may wish to free up memory if you have not already done so.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

Press the key and the return key (the key on the right of the trackball) at the same time to see which apps are currently running on the background, close the ones not needed.

FYI, there are 5 icons that seem to be embedded, BB messenger, Home, Messages, Phone and Browser.

If you press lglg it brings a log, you can clear that, I'm pretty sure it doesn't take much space but it might help a tad.

Just some more free memory! You will need to do a hard reset to reclaim the lost memory though.... I would recommend one additional application
SoftRest....it will allow you to do a hard reset without yanking the battery. Great application!
