Default Annoying issue with calendar "AGENDA" view

Please Login to Remove!

I've done a search on this forum but seems to have not found mention of this issue with the Calendar function so I'm going out on a limb and posting an actual question here - FLAME SUIT ON...

In my Agenda view, which is my preferred default view, it starts at some seemingly random past date on an all day event when there is no time specific appointment for today. Otherwise, it will default to Today view when I switch to Calendar.

When the problem occurs, I have to scroll down to see future appointments.

And when I use the menu to select "Today", nothing happens...

I've checked my Date & Time settings and they are correct, and the other views function normally and starts at Today when I switch over.

I've never experienced this in any of my previous BBs (8300, 8700, Pearl and 8800), is this a specific issue with my device?

TIA for any light shed on this annoying problem.

When you go into the agenda view, create a dummy appointment in the past date which comes up. Once saved, it should show the current date in the agenda view.

I have a similar annoying problem in agenda view, but only at month end!

If you go to agenda view and then scroll down the month, when you get to the next month, it doesn't show any appointments at all for months after the current month....

Is anyone else seeing this? I am on a 02 8300 using the Optus 222 OS

Wow...that worked like a charm...thanks!

But why does it behave like that? Strange...

TIA for any explanation on this odd behavior.

I had this issue as well. It appears to be fixed if you apply the BlackBerry calendar patch. (Search forum)

I actually did apply that patch before posting in the hopes that the fix would solve the issue, but strangely it didn't.

Thanks for the tip though!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

I also had the problem. The oatch fixed it. I did do a hard reset after the patch though. No problems now.

My problem with agenda mode is in trying to make an appt. Agenda mode only shows me the dates where I have appts. If I press the menu key and try to go to a certain future date it only brings me to the next closest date. What is the easiest way to make an appt when you are already in agenda mode with the least number of key presses

Menu>New brings up the new appointment window.
