no EDGE on AT&T in North Alabama either, went down out about 12:45 CST.

Yea just got off the phone with this lady who is totally clueless and had to put me on hold every question i asked...

The network is down nationwide due to problems with the MediaNet. Cingular/Att is aware and they are working on the problem.

when i tried to get a time frame she said by the end of the day which is probably something a lot of us don't want to hear.
