Default 8800 vs. Curve - what's the diff?

Please Login to Remove!

It's time to upgrade from my 8700c, and I'm looking at the 8800 and the Curve and wondering "What's the diff?" and "Which is better?"

Curve has a headphone jack -- not a biggie for me. They both seem to have GPS support. Curve seems to be lighter and more silvery. 8800 seems to have more battery time.

One noticeable diff is with my contract, AT&T has the Curve at $199 and has the 8800 at $299.

What else is different? How do I choose between them? Who are these targeted to demographically?

8800 has built in gps and no camera, but longer battery life. Curve has better keyboard and a built in camera.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

For me I would go with the 8800, but that is just because I want excellent battery life and no camera. Actually, I really want the 8820, as it has GPS and WiFi.

I've had both in the last month. The curve is a better device in my IMHO but I ended up with the 8830 because of the better sprint data network speeds.

The curve has much better form factor and the best keybaord I've ever used. I'd have another one if sprint would sell one.
