Well, let me say thanks for your positive response... and your opinion is appreciated. It's a dumb poll yet 23 people have participated. Can't be that dumb, this forum has not taken a poll like this so it's not like this has been already been addressed.

Good advantages, but I think the 72XX series is the best. ;)

7250 is the best
+ fastest unit on the market according to benchmarks
+ smaller, no antenna

7290 is the best
+ longest battery life with a bright screen, runs instant messaging nonstop for over 75-100 hours on a single charge
+ smaller, no antenna

It's better to critique rather than be a bit rude about it.

For example say, "This poll doesn't make sense. The 7250 and 7290 are vastly better than the 7230 and 7280, and the ancient 7210 unit has only two bands of frequencies! I'd rather use a 7520 than a 7230, for example, but I prefer the 7250 and 7290"

Those features are infact very useful but you may not be able to use it majority of the time since "NEXTTOHELL" has horrible coverage... from what I know, doesn't all nextel phones have those features??? It's not a special feature of a BB.

Yes but not a all blackberrys do so therefore I think it make the 7520 the best. And just like the comments above yours are rude calling Nextel. Nexttohell. I love nextel and wouldnt dream of another service I get absolutly great coverage with the exception of areas of the country where no one lives anyways.

You know I have thought about it, and for the most part its what a user likes and doesnt like so indeed this poll is senseless.

Wow we have dumb(penguin3701) and dumber(Dawg)

You know what??? Don't think...Had you bothered to read the subject of this thread it makes perfect sense and you're right, it is all about personal preference and opinion hence the title

If this was SO senseless why did so many people including yourself respond and vote... if it were me I would not have taken the time to post if I thought a post was senseless or plan stupid. Normal people would read a couple of posts and figured out that it's "senseless" and move on... but that would take a person with a BRAIN to make that determination which you are obviously lacking... It seems to me that you just like "posting/typing" to build your number of posts even though what YOU write IS SENSELESS.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7250/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

I think the more important question is: what is the best provider for your area. Once that is decided, picking the best BB is fairly easy.

Well, I can see that the person who started this thread isnt any better than penguin, he insists on being rude as well. I followed your direction Mark and said it was sensless and I get insulted. So I will just say bite me and move on. And bala might wanna remove your email from the post before you get spammed to death. Just a litle help to the rude one.

I usually don't post too often, but I feel that I should respond to the call of Nextel NEXTOHELL. I have had Nextel for about 6-7 years and have had few problems. Any problems I have HAD was fixed by CS in a rapid manner. So unless you know all the facts there is no reason to dog out carriers you don't have! No to your POLL, I thought it was pretty good. Although it could have been worded a little different as Mark stated, but hey it's your POLL and you made it the way you wanted, no problem!

In everyones defense, I have seen plenty of threads dogging nextel because of poor customer service or poor coverage areas or even problems with the devices themselves. However, in just the same manner i have seen good posts as well. the poll is fine, if you dont like it, dont post

Because building my number of posts is so important. It's my life goal to be a "Super Moderator".

The poll is dumb for many reasons. First off, you're missing options. There's much more than 4 series of Blackberry devices. Maybe there's people out there who feel the 957 or the 6230 is still the "best".

And more importantly, you don't define "best". It's way too subjective, and the poll is entirely opinionated. There's no point to asking anyone, because you already know you're going to get a wide range of responses.

The best device is the one that works best for you. Period.

Awesome... one more post for me on the way to "Thumbs Must Hurt".

You guys all suck... that is what I have to say... ok ok I am just kidding... I think my 6280 was the best... I get at least 100 messages a day, only ever charged the thing overnight on Sunday night... A week of battery life with nearly 1000 messages and plenty of talk time... how can you go wrong?

For me, email is 80%, voice is 14% and whatever else was 1%. Black and white vs. colour was not part of my decision making process. I don't use a headset, so BT was not part of my decision making process. Knowing that I always had juice in the battery, huge part of my decision making process. Twice now in 8 months has my 7290 battery died and it ticks me off to no avail when that happens.

cd.

Oh and while I am at it... how could anyone feel that a non-GSM based handheld be the best... just can't be... There were more 'new gsm activations' in the world last year than the total userbase of cdma/iden mobiles...
