"To celebrate the newest additions to its line-up of BlackBerry devices, T-Mobile will introduce this month an accessible and affordable service option for all BlackBerry smartphones. For $9.99/month customers will be able to add an unlimited BlackBerry email only service(1), which provides access to personal email accounts such as Yahoo!®, AOL® and Gmail®"

So this is email only, no data???

T-Mobile customers didn't already have red?

That article says that the new colors are in addition to the black and white models. I thought the black and red models came out first, and white came out soon after.

Yes. Tmobile released Black first, then white shortly after...

These are not the Pearl 2 only color changes and a few minor other things. No word on the Pearl 2 with TMO.

The $9.99 email only option is a nice thing. You could add $5 for 400 txts and the thing would be very reasonable indeed. No browser but hey, some people can wait til they get home. And if you use the BB messenger you don't even need txt.

Doesn't the BBMessenger use data...? So you wouldn't have use of that service either with an email only plan.

I see the logic, but is that the truth? Email is a form of data after all. TXT is a form of data. You can use both without the full blown data plan.
