I am not a big advocate of XM via a BlackBerry with the data streaming quality limitations of EDGE speeds, but since they've built in the functionality to give every Curve user a "free 3 day trial" I have found out you can continue to use endless free 3 day trials as you please.
After your 3 day trial has ended, remove Streaming Music by going to Advanced Options, Applications, and delete it from the list. Power off, remove the battery, pop it back in, let your device reboot, and select Streaming Music - it may be a hidden icon for some of you so "show all" of your icons and presto! You've got another free 3 day trial like you were never there in the first place.
It is still not the best way to enjoy satellite radio, but it isn't a huge file (258K) and it might give you tunes in a pinch.
now if only there was a way to route audio thru the bluetooth headset profile like the windows mobile id be set anyone know anything that can do that. this lack of a2dp is killing me
I have an aftermarket navigation unit in my truck with XM and iPod, and I RARELY ever go to XM, I find that on the channels that I listen to now, more and more of it is becoming talk, the DJ's take phone calls, they tell people about their lives, and then they remix all the music with their own voices, but NavTraffic saves me all the time
