Default What Can I Do With GPS in My ATT 8310 for Free?

Please Login to Remove!

If I return my 8300 purchased a couple of weeks ago and exchange for the 8310, assuming it's out within my 30 day return period, what GPSish stuff can I do with it WITHOUT paying ATT any more than my current $29.99 unlimited blackberry plan?

Thanks.....Jeff.

Google Maps and BB Maps are both free to use for turn-by-turn GPS navigation.
(Uses your BlackBerry Data Plan).
They're not as polished or featured as TeleNav, but they get the job done as a free alternative.

There's plenty of choices for you.

Search the GPS forum. There's tons of topics there. Plenty of information for you to read through.

Also, maybe try switching to decaf. You seem a little "on EDGE". (no pun intended) ;)

Default Gps

Basicly nothing. The GPS shit is only maps, and let me ask everybody how many times you are using your GPS system to find out where are you going.
Even when you go somewhere you check the maps on google or on the BB and than you know and there is no need to have the GPS on all the time.

Its not just for maps! Beyond for 411 is an good search tool and with GPS in always knows where you are instead of having to enter an address and then doing a search.

Does TomTom work on a BlackBerry? It's great on WinMo, but I'm about to convert to the BB world!

Yes, TomTom does work with BBs. Check the GPS section here:

Good luck, and welcome to the Forums.
