Default battery drain WAY early

Please Login to Remove!

my phone has been shutting down right before the battery indicator is about to enter into the red zone. when i try restarting it says "battery drained shutting down" phone or battery issue?

Your wireless will shut off at 15% battery charge. You should not let it get that low, rarely.

Charge it regularly during the day to top it off, best recommended procedure.

yes but it used to go down into the red on the indicator and warn me. now out of the blue it just turns off and its redeemed "drained"

Make sure that you properly close your applications. If you hit the Red End key you are just putting the app in the background where it will continue to consume your battery. Always use the Escape key or Menu>end (or Close).

I don't know what you mean by "redeemed"

Did you read the link I sent you? read the part about once a month letting it drain completely, and charging fully to 100% 2-3 x in a row.

I agree with JSanders. Don't let your battery get that low. Too many hard depletions are not good for this type of battery.
