Default 8350i new 5.0 OS Nextel, phone reboots and has uncaught exception error

Please Login to Remove!

I upgraded my Nextel 8350i to the new 5.0 OS to the latest version 5.0. Ever since, the phone reboots without warning and I have an Uncaught Exception error every time it does reboot. "Uncaught Exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x9850447e783b0596)

Any idea how to fix this?

Whoa.

I just got an 8350i on the Mike/Telus network. I don't think I would upgrade software if my phone was working properly. This is a good example of why not.

I would start with re-installing any applications you think might causing the issue or reloading the OS.

Thanks SteveO86, I actually attempted to re-install the old OS and it didn't seem to work, but whatever it did do fixed the issues exception error and rebooting. I'm not sure what it did, but it's fixed and that's what I care about.

I had the same problem. I used JL Commander to brick my phone and then reinstall the new OS. Since then it has worked great. You can find the program free on the internet. Hope it helps!!!
