Default Setting up 3rd parties emails on a 8330

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

Something is up with my bb. I want to add another email address with IMAP/POP information etc, but when I navigate to my email settings I do not have the "Other Option" so I can add emails like POP and IMAP etc. I can only add yahoo and gmail and MS accounts.

Is it possible that my "Other Option" is missing? I am trying to add my personal email site addy that i registered with godaddy.

Any help will be great
Thanks

I assume that you have a BB data plan. Are you doing it from the device itself or from the BIS site? Might try logging into your BIS account and doing it there.

Thanks for your reply
Yes I do have a data plan and when I try to create a new account for the BIS site, I get the following error " Your account is not accessible via html browser. Please use your device to access Blackberry Internet Service" I also try accessing it via BB web and still same issues. I think I need to contact my carrier for support; unless there is a way around this.

You need to use the "Personal Email Setup" icon (or Manage Email icon) usually found in the Setup Folder.
