They might ask but you won't get in trouble, the only way a 5.0 os would cause problems was if you were trying to get a warranty fix done. Also the .CODs should work, I'm use the ones from 5.0.0.238...

Call AT&T and ask them to reactivate VVM on your phone. Sometimes it gets screwy when switching with the 5.0 os's it's happened to a few people.

5.0.0.238 is the only one that includes the VVM files. If you loaded a different version then you need to load the VVM .COD files from another version.

Go back through it and make sure to follow the steps exactly ignoring any error message that pops up, it will go away when you're done. This is very well known issue and fix that many people have...

You're supposed to get that 'unhandled exception' error. That's what removing the .cod does. It goes away after you reinstall the .cod.

It depends on if you plan on accessing the e-mail accounts on your computer too. If you do then go with IMAP as it leaves the messages on the server versus POP3 which downloads the message then...

Thanks for the suggestions... I ended up just putting his sim card in my Bold and copying them that way. Would be nice though if desktop manager would let you import from other file types though.
