Default Incoming call Forwarded sign

Please Login to Remove!

Hello!

Is there any way possible to get any sign (icon or something) that an incoming call is a forwarded call from another number? My previous phones would show an ARROW SIGN, but the Torch doesn't.

The idea is that I have two numbers and the second one is forwarded to my first one and I need to distinguish between my personal greeting and my standard office greeting which is a forwarded call to my Torch.

Does anyone know any solution (any app or something)?

Thanks!

Default Re: Incoming call Forwarded sign

Welcome to the Forums.

The problem is distinguishing the incoming number and where its from. The call forwarding number does not normally identify original origin it just forwards( there are exceptions ) the incoming number. The carrier knows if a number is to be forwarded by the setup selected. When a number is forwarded by another system to a second system that is forwarding to a number, usually only the incoming number is known.
Some carriers do not forward the calling number but do send a forward indicator. This may be what you saw from the second phone number that was forwarded. Because its not a valid number it may not be recognized by some carriers including yours and is not given to the cell phone. Unless your carriers either landline or wireless performs the way you indicated I dont know how any apps would be able to do it.
